Job summary

SAE is seeking a Math Adjunct Instructor to apply the Student-Centered Active Education model, guiding General Education and program math courses on campus. You will deliver instruction, develop activities, and support student success while participating in campus events.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field with relevant credits, or a Bachelor’s with field credentials, plus four years of industry experience. Part-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• For General Education courses: Master’s with 18 credits or 24 quarter credits in the area.
• For program courses toward a Diploma/Associate’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree with credential in field; 4 years industry experience.
• For Bachelor’s degree programs: Master’s degree with credential in field; 4 years industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned in accordance with SAE policies.
• Deliver instruction aligned with Student-Centered Active Education model.
• Establish an environment conducive to learning and student engagement.
• Advise students and support campus events to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and submit grades on time.
• Plan and prepare for classes and student success.
• Provide tutoring and academic advising as needed.
• Participate in faculty development activities.
