Job summary

The instructor reports to the AVP of Academic Operations and collaborates with the Mathematics/Science Division Chair. We seek candidates with a Master's degree in the content area or Education with a related undergraduate degree, and prior higher-education teaching experience

Qualifications

• Part-time adjunct faculty teaching a specified course per semester.
• Teaching in person at the Scranton Campus for Fall 2026.
• Must meet administrative deadlines and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teach in-ground classes.
• Deliver lessons aligned with current trends and regulations.
• Support students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Complete syllabi, grades, attendance, and end-of-semester reviews.
• Foster a professional classroom environment and assess learning.
• Apply hands-on activities to reinforce concepts.
• Other duties as assigned by the Dean.
