Job summary

The Indiana Regional Medical Center in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Maternity Department. This part-time 0.6 position requires rotation through labor/delivery, nursery and postpartum, with competency in scrub/circulate for emergencies and discharge planning.

You will work with the health care team to provide high-quality patient care, adhere to nursing standards, and support education and mentorship of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current PA RN license or eligible (within 6 months).
• BLS certification required (or obtain within 1 month).
• Dysthymia and Neonatal resuscitation required within 1 year of hire.
• AWHONN Basic/Intermediary fetal monitoring courses within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, delivery, nursery and postpartum.
• Scrub/circulate for emergency cesarean sections and coordinate care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the health care team.
