Job summary

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to teach in our BSN program. You will mentor BSN students in person at an inpatient clinical setting in the Detroit and/or Lansing areas.

No teaching experience is required, MSN preferred; Illinois license may be required for some courses. We hire for this role as opportunities arise, with 8‑week sessions and 3–4 twelve-hour shifts per session.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered RN nursing license in Michigan.
• Illinois RN license will be required to teach all courses (per posting).

Responsibilities

• Teaching and Curriculum Implementation — implement the college's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Student Evaluation and Support — develop and post written clinical assignments, evaluate performance, and provide remediation as needed.
• Clinical Coordination — orient and maintain knowledge of site policies, maintain visibility with staff and students.
• Program and College Development — contribute to ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and policies.
• Professionalism and Collaboration — serve as a professional role model and collaborate with administration and staff.
• Regulatory Compliance and Reporting — comply with applicable rules and report to the course coordinator.
