Job summary

Lifesteps Inc. is hiring a Maternal Health Specialist in Castle Shannon, PA. This full-time role involves-home visiting to support mothers, scheduling well-baby visits, and guiding families on infant health, nutrition, and development.

The position requires an Associates Degree (or equivalent CDA credential with HS diploma) and a willingness to travel; benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in home-based education or family support is preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement home-based learning experiences.
• Knowledge of infant/toddler development, health, nutrition and safety.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and attend well-baby appointments for families.
• Assess infant and maternal care and home supports.
• Provide guidance, education and referrals to parents.
• Check in through the home visiting program.
• Travel to family homes using Agency Vehicle; discuss health topics.
• Complete case management documentation and reporting for MCOs.
