Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for Maternal Fetal Medicine on a part-time basis. This role performs ultrasound procedures and related techniques, generating diagnostic images for physician interpretation and patient care under Radiology leadership.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining histories, and ensuring comfort, safety and accuracy. Requires ARDMS/ARRT eligibility or registry, and 1 year ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ultrasonography program; ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible or registered (required).
• ARDMS/ARRT registration or eligibility is required.
• 1 year ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques.
• Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Obtain and record patient history and consent as applicable.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
