Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for Maternal Fetal Medicine on a part-time basis. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, preparing images for interpretation, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will document findings and support staff and students under Radiology leadership. Requirements include an ultrasound program background and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility, with preferred advanced modality registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible (required).
• ARDMS/ARRT certification or registration (required).
• Advanced modality registration in Ultrasound (preferred or within 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and prepares images for interpretation.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains consent when applicable.
• Ensures patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures.
• Documents findings and images for physician review.
• Assists in education and orientation of staff and students.
