Qualifications

• Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire or Technical degree required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists in various imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Ensures equipment is properly functioning and reports problems or malfunctions.
• Submits high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct patient data/history.
• Maintains a clean, organized department and storage areas.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.
