Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join the Radiology team. This full-time, afternoon position performs diagnostic ultrasound under Radiologist direction, ensuring image quality and patient safety while rotating with overnight and weekend call responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS certification or eligibility and must complete SPI, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS within 12 months if eligible; ongoing CME is required to stay current.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered ARDMS or eligible to sit for ARDMS examinations.
• If eligible, completion of SPI, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS examinations within 12 months of hire.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or eligible to sit for ARDMS examinations.
• If eligible, successful completion of SPI, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS examinations within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
• Familiarity with Henry Ford Health’s imaging protocols and systems.
