Job summary

A leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join their Pediatric Cardiology team. This full-time position requires strong communication skills and experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography. Responsibilities include assisting physicians and conducting various sonography procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Qualifications

• Two years of hospital or doctor's office-based experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start.
• Completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program within 6 months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical histories.
• Help physicians perform CVS and Amniocentesis procedures.
• Recognize problems in patients that may interfere with exams.
