Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty to join our team on a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible for this role.

We expect a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN expertise, BLS at start, and completion of the NT program within 1 month if not already certified. Two years of hospital or clinic experience in maternal-fetal sonography is required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required at start; NT program completion within 1 month for non-certified members.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer focusing on OB/GYN required at start.
• Two years of hospital or doctor’s office experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and files with high accuracy; track patients per procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings.
• Demonstrate patient safety through proper use of side rails and monitoring.
• Document and correct unsafe or unusual conditions via incident reports.
