Job summary

Inova Health System is expanding its Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography team. PRN, part-time and full-time roles are available across multiple Antenatal Testing Centers in Northern Virginia.

Full-time roles include a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with on-site Genetic Counselors and a comprehensive Fetal Care Center. Locations feature multiple ultrasound rooms, on-site fetal echo exams, and advanced procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required at start.
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program completion within 6 months for those without NT cert.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN required at start.
• Licensure not required.
• Two years of hospital or doctor’s office experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to obtain history and consent for exams.
• Assist physicians in CVS, Amniocentesis and image optimization per protocol.
• Apply fetal ultrasound knowledge to position patients for optimal imaging.
• Maintain equipment, rooms and logs; ensure safety and cleanliness.

RDMS - Obstetrics & Gynecology

High School diploma or equivalent
