Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certified or eligible.
• Fetal echo certification or eligible to obtain with 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of an approved ultrasonography educational program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a preliminary report for physician review/signature.
• Reviews studies with physicians.
• Assists physician with procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Maintains proper operation of the ultrasound equipment.
