Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join a high-volume team delivering comprehensive care to pregnant patients in South Florida.

The ideal candidate is board-certified/eligible in MFM with strong ultrasound, fetal testing, and management of comorbidities. A passion for education of residents and medical students is essential as part of our ACGME-accredited Ob/Gyn residency program.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).
• Experience with high-volume prenatal care and subspecialist collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound, fetal testing, and pregnancy-related comorbidities.

Responsibilities

• Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures and manage inpatient/outpatient pregnancy-related conditions.
• Provide multidisciplinary care with obstetric and subspecialist teams.
• Participate in deliveries and surgeries when appropriate; support clinical research.

Job description

That’s why Memorial Healthcare Systems’ Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) is seeking an extremely capable and well-experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our extraordinary team. When you deliver over 13,000 babies every year, you need to make sure you bring your best to each patient. The candidate we seek will be Board Certified/Eligible in MFM with extensive knowledge and experience in ultrasound, fetal diagnostic testing, management of medical and surgical complications, and comorbidities in pregnancy. This is a high-volume, consultative and co-management service treating an extensive range of rare and complex conditions.

You will perform prenatal diagnostic procedures while providing inpatient and outpatient management of co-morbidities in pregnancy. You’ll take a multidisciplinary approach with our exemplary team of subspecialists, especially with our maternal and fetal navigation programs. You must have a passion for resident and medical student education to support our ACGME-accredited Ob/Gyn Residency Program.

This position offers the opportunity to participate in deliveries and surgeries, particularly for accretas and cerclages. You will also be able to support innovative clinical research. Chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal procedures and/or critical care experience is highly desirable.
