Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a fellowship-trained Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist for a consult-focused role with a unique 4-day workweek. Outpatient ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, antepartum testing and maternal medical management are central to the practice, with inpatient consults at two nearby hospitals.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFMs).
• US-based obstetric practice with outpatient ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis and antepartum testing.
• AIUM-certified including fetal echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative MFM care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with sonographers, genetic counselors, nurses and staff.
• Share call coverage equally among MFMs.

About The Opportunity

• Consultative MFM practice with out-patient services and inpatient consult opportunities.
• Outpatient focus on ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, antepartum testing and maternal medical management. AIUM certified including fetal echocardiography.
• Work in 2 main clinics, 2 days/week at each site:
  • Bellevue MFM Clinic
  • Evergreen Health
• Consultative care provided at two nearby hospitals (Overlake Medical Center and Evergreen Health) with level 3 NICUS with a combined total of about 9,000 annual deliveries.

Pay Range (Base Pay): $525,000-$600,000

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.

Paid Sick Leave

Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.

NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
