Advantia Health specializes in women's health and is expanding its Maternal-Fetal Medicine team with positions in Silver Spring, MD and Northern Virginia. The role focuses on outpatient care with some inpatient consultations, offering leadership over staff and involvement in quality initiatives for high-quality patient care.

Compensation ranges from $325,000 to $475,000 annually, with a robust benefits package, performance-based incentives, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Board-Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Active medical license in MD/VA/DC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform both minor and major surgical procedures.
• Prevent, diagnose, and treat OB/GYN conditions.
• Provide leadership and oversight to medical staff.
• Support enhancements of technology to improve patient care and experience.
• Conduct patient examinations and order/perform diagnostic tests.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives with the team.
• Outpatient-focused with some inpatient consultations.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with a skilled clinical team.
• Manage high-volume ultrasound services and interpret fetal studies.
• Antenatal assessment interpretation (NST, biophysical profile).

Job Responsibilities

• Perform both minor and major surgical procedures.
• Prevent, diagnose, and treat a full range of OB/GYN conditions.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to medical staff-including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants-ensuring adherence to proper procedures and protocols.
• Support enhancements of technology to drive higher quality and consumer experience while maintaining clinical quality.
• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Participate actively in internal quality-improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to drive proactive improvements.
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient consultations.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, supported by a highly skilled clinical team.
• Manage high-volume ultrasound services, including interpreting fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, fetal anatomic surveys, and performing amniocentesis (CVS experience valued but not required).
• Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST, biophysical profile

Qualifications

• Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is preferred.
• Active Medical License in the State of Maryland/Virginia/DC is strongly preferred.

Annual Compensation Range based on years of experience: $325,000 -$475,000
