Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an experienced obstetric nurse to support Labor & Delivery and antepartum care in Camden, NJ. You will perform non-stress tests, phlebotomy for genetic testing, and assist perinatologists with procedures.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with physicians and staff, and document all aspects of patient care in the EMR. A NJ RN license and 2–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, ambulatory Maternal Fetal Medicine practice or equivalent with fetal monitoring.
• Must possess effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-stress testing and phlebotomy for genetic testing.
• Assist with procedures conducted by the perinatologist and provide post-procedure patient instructions.
• Document all aspects of patient care and coordinate with OB, MFM and staff.
