Overview

UPMC Harrisburg, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Magee-Womens, is seeking a BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director & Fellowship Program Director to lead our expanding Central PA team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for rapid practice growth, encompassing both clinical practice and teaching.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Women’s Health Service line leadership on system-wide and local goals
• Provide leadership to improve quality and best practices in MFM services
• Oversee quality measures, patient experience, and outcomes
• Act as liaison between MFM services and other clinical departments
• Partner with nursing and other departments to achieve system goals
• Lead productivity initiatives and financial performance of the department
• Provide academic leadership in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh

Practice Details

• Current team of five MFM physicians based in Harrisburg, looking to expand
• Three-year MFM fellowship program with teaching and call coverage support
• Full spectrum of support including general OBGYN, reproductive medicine, uro-gynecology, and gynecologic oncology
• Additional resources from UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh

Candidate Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Experience with invasive MFM procedures required
• Ultrasound experience highly recommended
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
