Job summary

ProMedica Central Physicians in Toledo, OH, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a patient-centered care model. In the office, you will collect vitals, document visit reasons, and assist providers and nurses to ensure a safe patient experience from check-in to discharge.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS card or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in medical office preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe patient experience from check-in to visit documentation and vitals collection.
• Document visit reasons and collect patient data and vitals.
• Communicate with patients, peers and the health care team; relay messages for providers or nurses.
• Answer patient calls and coordinate communications for the care team.
