Qualifications

• Master's degree in genetics or related field required.
• Licensed or board-eligible in state of practice; provisional license acceptable before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty consultation to healthcare staff and serve as resource to physicians, hospital staff, and parents.
• Discuss prognosis, management options, and diagnostic methods with patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care with social services, clergy, and other resources as needed.
• Compile family history, review medical records, assess genetic disease risk, and provide counseling.
