St. Luke’s is seeking a Genetic Counselor to join our Boise-based team. The role involves participating in partnerships and strategic planning across the Health System, serving as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and families, and reviewing medical records to assess genetic disease risk and provide counseling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certified or Board eligible, licensure from the state of practice, or provisional license before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Participates in partnerships, projects and strategic planning involving genetics across the Health System.
• Compiles complete family history, obtain and review medical records, assess risk of genetic disease and provide grief and crisis counseling to individuals and/or families.
