Chamberlain University is seeking a Maternal Child Clinical Faculty (part-time) to deliver clinical teaching and supervise nursing students at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. The role supports the college’s mission and requires engagement with clinical agencies and faculty leadership.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with an Ohio nursing license, and have prior instructional experience.

Qualifications

master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
Unencumbered professional nursing license in Ohio.
Availability for 6:30am-6:30pm shifts at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
At least two years of professional instructional experience as a registered nurse in the last five years.
Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching, and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students based on course objectives.
Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and expectations with agency staff.
Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and skill levels.
