Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College seeks a Clinical Adjunct Instructor for Nursing (Maternal/Child) at the Stanton Campus in Newark, DE. This part-time position supports pediatric and/or maternal/child clinical instruction for associate and/or practical nursing programs, with day or evening options.

The incumbent will develop curricula, deliver courses, evaluate students, and maintain records while providing advising and six office hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; RN license in Delaware or a compact state.
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience in nursing.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, a valid license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Ability to teach in diversified student populations and use varied teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve curricula and instruction aligned with syllabi.
• Instruct courses and evaluate student learning.
• Maintain timely student records and provide six posted office hours per week.
• Advise students and support student success.
• Participate in accreditation activities and NFDP training.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support program operations.
