Position Goals
  • Adjunct Clinical Nursing position will report directly to the Associate Dean of Health Careers and is responsible for delivering effective clinical teaching, guiding student learning in maternal and pediatric care environments, and supporting the development of competent, compassionate future nurses.

Job Description
  • Experienced Adjunct instructors needed for upcoming summer sessions specifically for maternity and pediatric care environments.
  • Nursing clinical adjuncts are responsible for instruction and evaluation of nursing students in the clinical area including conducting pre and post conferences and completing midterm and final clinical evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with current NJ license, minimum MSN degree, with at least 3 years maternal/child experience within the last 5 years.
  • Teaching experience is a plus.
  • Standing for long periods of time, walking, good communication skills, ability to work with diverse group of students, ability to manage a group of 6-8 students safely within the clinical site.
