Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license.

• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum five years perinatal nursing in acute care.
• Minimum two years in leadership or management.
• Master's degree preferred.
• National certification in Maternal Child Health or Nursing Leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour administrative and clinical oversight of Maternal Child Health Services.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate patient care to ensure quality and safety.
• Develop departmental goals, strategic plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, accreditation, and hospital regulations.
• Staff recruitment, development, supervision, and evaluations; manage staffing and budgets.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administration.
• Lead quality initiatives and monitor outcomes; participate in hospital leadership committees.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate house supervisory coverage.
