Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BSN degree required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications current
• Minimum 5 years perinatal nursing in acute care
• Minimum 2 years nursing leadership/management
• MSN or related field preferred
• National certification in Maternal Child Health or Nursing Leadership preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour administrative and clinical oversight of Maternal Child Health Services.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate patient care to ensure quality and safety.
• Develop departmental goals, strategic plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and staffing productivity.
• Lead staff development, performance evaluations, and competency training.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to improve outcomes.
