Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Case Worker 2 in Miami, FL. This direct service role delivers maternal child health services to eligible clients in the Healthy Start/CIR CONNECT programs, and related projects.

Responsibilities include QA/QI activities, home visits, and collaboration with community providers. Evening/weekend work may be required to meet duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience? (from core qualifications)
• Bilingual Creole or Spanish preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct situational analysis at home or office visits and provide mentorship and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with service agencies and program leadership to administer services.
• Develop and provide training to family support networks and care providers on early care and education.
• Maintain and review records to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate resources by collaborating with funding sources.
• Stay informed about services and regulatory changes.
• Attend meetings/trainings with community partners and ensure protocol adherence.
• Provide care coordination referrals for maternal child health psychosocial needs.
