Job summary

Unigen in Newark, CA is seeking a Materials and Process Supervisor to oversee materials, inventory, and WMS processes, ensuring policy compliance and continuous improvement.

You will serve as Oracle WMS Super User, support VMI operations with suppliers and internal teams, and partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Procurement to drive process optimization. This onsite role offers growth in a global electronics manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in materials, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with Oracle WMS or a similar WMS.
• Experience with VMI, supplier coordination, and process documentation.
• Strong process improvement, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing/EMS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials, inventory, and WMS processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Serve as Oracle WMS Super User and support system troubleshooting.
• Support WMS module blueprinting and process optimization.
• Create and maintain work instructions and SOPs; train employees on processes.
• Supervise VMI activities with suppliers across production and stores.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Procurement on process improvements.
• Monitor inventory/process performance and identify corrective actions.
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
