Job summary

Unigen, a global electronics manufacturing company, seeks a Production Manager in Newark, CA. This onsite role leads the Production team, drives process improvements, and ensures quality, safety, and on-time delivery across manufacturing operations at the Newark site.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in EMS supervisory roles, strong data analysis skills, and experience with process optimization and cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a supervisory/management role in EMS industry (PCBA, box build, conformal coating).
• Strong understanding of processes, equipment, bottlenecks, and line balancing; works with Engineering and Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Production team.
• Drive improvements to production processes to meet quality, on-time delivery, and safety standards.
• Provide production data analysis to support labor quotations and address labor concerns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement changes, new product introductions, and improvement projects.
• Organize training and build standard work instructions for new hires.
