Job summary

Sunrise Engineering's Utah Testing and Engineering division in Cedar City, UT is seeking a Materials Testing Technician to support our growing organization. This full-time role pays $20.00-$25.00 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits and a robust time-off policy.

In this position you will prepare daily reports, complete job paperwork, and perform inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and lab to verify conformance with plans and specs under the direction of the

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of materials testing experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to maintain company vehicle.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Certification desires: ICC or ACI certifications; Nuclear Gage certification; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

The Materials Testing Technician provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization.

• Prepare and complete daily written reports.
• Complete paperwork for each job.
• Perform inspection and testing of materials in the field and lab in order to verify conformance of construction plans and specifications.
• Complete various duties at the direction of the Inspector.
