Job summary

NOVA Engineering in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Project Manager to lead construction materials testing and special inspections on multiple sites. The role focuses on field data reduction, analysis, and site work supporting diverse commercial and government projects.

Primary duties include project management support, reporting, and client consultations while coordinating with the NOVA team to meet company objectives and schedules. A track record in field testing and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required.
• ACI, ICC or related certifications are a plus.
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.
