DOWL's Geosciences team invites you to join as a Laboratory Technician Intern this summer in Billings, MT. You'll gain hands-on experience performing tests on asphalt, concrete, soil, and aggregates in a fast-paced lab and support data entry and reporting.

You will learn industry-standard procedures, including ASTM, AASHTO, and WAQTC, assist with equipment maintenance, and work alongside experienced technicians to understand how materials influence infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and learn lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and record keeping for lab tests.
• Learn and apply ASTM, AASHTO, WAQTC procedures.
• Perform testing on soil, asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration.
