Terracon in Billings, MT is seeking an entry-level field/lab technician to support testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document findings, communicate with the Project Manager, and assist with sample transport and data submission.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and progressive responsibility as you gain training and experience on multiple projects. A high school diploma and a valid license are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate with project manager, client representative, and others regarding requirements and results.
• Transport material samples to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in reports for daily transmittal to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Follow strict safety standards.
