Job summary

Braun Intertec in Tyler, TX seeks engineering or construction management students for a 6-month Co-op. You will perform field testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt and collaborate with project managers to ensure specifications are met.

Chosen Co-ops receive in-depth technical training, industry certifications after exams, and mentorship from a professional engineer, with exposure to ASTM, ACI, ICC and DOT standards. This is a paid opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months from mid-May to December.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specs are followed.
• Gain field experience and onsite communication with construction crews.
