Job summary

Braun Intertec is offering a 6-month Co-op in our Austin, TX office for students pursuing engineering, construction management, or related fields. You will participate in field testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and assist with on-site activities under the supervision of project managers and senior technicians.

Ideal candidates are willing to work outdoors in varying weather, capable of lifting 75+ pounds, and committed to completing training, certifications (ACI, safety), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Experience in landscaping, construction or farming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Assist with on-site materials testing and ensure specifications are followed.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians on site.
• Learn procedures and gain exposure to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.
