Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing engineering, construction management, or related fields for a 6-month Co-op in our Austin, TX office. The role includes hands-on material testing with guidance from professional engineers, and opportunities to gain industry certifications.

Candidates should be comfortable outdoors, able to lift 75+ pounds, and commit to mid-May through November/December (with some locations January–July in the South Region).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude with practical problem-solving skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on construction materials (soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt).
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Operate outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 75+ pounds.
• Participate in training events and gain certifications (ACI, etc.).
