Job summary

Braun Intertec offers a 6‑month co-op in Dallas, TX for students in engineering or construction management. You will undergo extensive field testing of soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt, guided by professional engineers and project managers.

Candidates gain training, certifications (ACI, safety), and hands-on experience on commercial and transportation projects, with opportunities to learn ASTM/ICC standards. Compensation is hourly and structured for six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months from mid-May to December.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Working safe attitude and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are met.
• Gain hands-on field experience and onsite communication with construction crews.
• Learn procedures and gain exposure to industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, DOT).
