Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Materials Technician to perform receiving, inventory control, PAR level maintenance, and clerical ERP duties to support patient care.

Schedule is Monday–Friday night shift 10pm–6:30am with weekend rotation; responsibilities include unloading trucks, matching packing slips, restocking, counting PARs, processing requisitions, and maintaining clean supply areas across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2 years of storeroom, inventory supply systems, receiving or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks, check for damaged boxes, sign for parcels, deliver stock supplies to Central Supply and non-stock supplies to departments throughout the facility and off-site locations.
• Match packing slips with supplies received to ensure quantities were correct.
• Receive daily stock orders, restock shelves, rotate supplies, and monitor expiration dates.
• Count and restock PAR locations daily to maintain PAR levels.
• Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions.
• Answer incoming calls and assist end users as needed.
• Maintain clean supply areas.
• Perform weekly cycle counts of Central Supply items.
• Prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier to expedite hospital supplies.

A Materials Technician performs a variety of Supply Chain department functions including receiving incoming supplies, inventory control, support and maintain PAR level locations, issue and fill departmental requisitions, deliver supplies, and provide clerical and ERP duties to assist in maintaining the proper quality and quantity of medical supplies for patient care.
