Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is seeking a Material Technician to verify and organize the distribution of goods, prepare shipping documents, and maintain accurate warehouse records in a fast-paced environment at our Philadelphia site.

Ideal candidates have warehouse/receiving experience, strong data entry and Excel skills, and a sense of urgency with multitasking abilities. On-site work with possible overtime supports career growth and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
• Data entry skills with MS Excel proficiency; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and organizes distribution of incoming/outgoing products.
• Prepares related documents.
• Maintain the shipping/receiving area.
• Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents with correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders are correctly fulfilled.
• Reconcile waybills and bills of lading with the bill of materials and actual shipment arrivals.
• Ensure that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifies and organizes distribution of incoming/outgoing products.
• Prepares related documents.
• Maintain the shipping/receiving area.
• Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse.
• Prepare shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders are correctly fulfilled.
• Reconcile waybills and bills of lading with the bill of materials and actual shipment arrivals.
• Ensure that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years’ experience preferred

• Warehouse/distribution experience
• Inventory experience
• Shipping/Receiving experience
• Data Entry experience; proficient in MS Excel. WMS experience is preferred.
• Attention to Detail
• Solid communication skills and prior Customer Service experience.
• Sense of urgency and ability to multitask.

Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA

Schedule/ Shift: Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM

Travel Requirements: none

Overtime: Possible weekends
