Job summary

Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Materials Technician for day-shift, PRN, to support daily supply operations and inventory control. The role ensures accurate par levels and timely replenishment to uphold patient care standards.

The position involves coordinating with Bio-Med for equipment check-in/out, processing non-stock requisitions, and maintaining clean stock locations. Prior warehouse or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of related warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assists daily support operations, including inventory management and control.
• Maintains warehouse and commodity par locations, replenishment, labeling systems, and par evaluations.
• Processes non-stock order requisitions and receiving of goods.
• Follows procedures for accurate receiving and delivering of shipments.
• Coordinates with Bio-Med for equipment check-in/out.
• Maintains clean and orderly stock locations and conducts annual inventory counts.
• Develops relationships with clinical leaders and teams.
