Job summary

Overlake in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Materials Technician to manage the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies. You will stock, count, and move items and record transactions in the MMIS system while supporting multiple units.

You will restock supply carts, adjust par levels, and communicate effectively with staff to anticipate needs. This full-time night position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities within a mission-driven hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid WA Driver’s license required.
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing. Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including stocking, counting, and distributing supplies and recording movements in MMIS.
• Restock supply carts, adjust mix of supply items and par levels. Interact with staff and provide updates on new supply items.
