Qualdoc is seeking a Materials & Supply Chain Manager in Marietta, OH to lead material planning, purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance for a power distribution manufacturing operation.

The role supervises Buyer Planners and partners with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain leadership to keep materials available and projects moving. A hands‑on leader will drive long‑term supplier strategy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 7–10+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising buyers/planners and leading cross-functional teams in a power/electromechanical environment.
• Proven ability to improve inventory turns and supplier performance with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Buyer Planners; coach, set KPIs, and manage performance.
• Align material plans with project schedules and production releases.
• Provide supply data to sales during quotes and maintain lead times.
• Develop long‑term supplier strategies and manage risk mitigations.
• Own inventory metrics, safety stock, and cycle counts; drive Lean initiatives.
• Lead ERP/MRP governance and reporting; prepare weekly dashboards.
