Job summary

Qualdoc seeks a Manufacturing Supply Chain Coordinator in Marietta, OH to manage purchasing, materials planning, and inventory in a production environment. You will coordinate procurement, maintain planning data, and support production schedules through ERP/MRP systems, partnering with production, inventory, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure material availability.

APICS certification and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred; 5+ years in Buyer/Planner roles and strong analytical,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Buyer/Planner, Purchasing, Materials Planning, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar systems.
• Experience with purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and material control processes.
• Background sourcing and purchasing electrical components and manufacturing materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing and material planning activities for assigned products and manufacturing programs.
• Procure raw materials, electrical components, and other production supplies for manufacturing operations.
• Track materials from purchase through receiving, inventory, production, and final shipment.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to create, manage, and update purchasing, planning, and inventory transactions.
• Partner with production, inventory, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain material availability and support schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and planning data to improve material flow and reduce shortages.
• Identify supply issues and work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, planning information, and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to procurement, inventory accuracy, and production planning.
