Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience directing a team
• 10+ years of experience in Materials Management
• ERP (Preferably SAP) experience
• BS in Engineering or Operations Management
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Manages the materials function within Hingham ATS business considering capacity, schedules workloads, and balance of in-house vs outsourcing.
• Establishes and maintains world-class customer service.
• Leads all Supply Chain Management activities within the factory including supplier evaluation on price, quality, delivery and compliance.
• Establishes standard/automated re-order procedures and develops crisis management and supplier backup programs.
• Manages factory inventory to ensure stocking levels for immediate production and forecasts future requirements.
• Implements standard/automated delivery procedures for just-in-time stocking.
• Facilitates the S&OP process.
• Oversees production planning integrating materials availability and long-term requirements.
• Coordinates special order requests and changes with engineering and market demand.
• Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, and development of team members.
• Drives accountability and results through strategy deployment and performance management.
