Applied Materials, Inc. invites motivated students to join the Global Supply Chain internship program for summer 2027 in Austin, TX.

You will work with Supplier Account Managers, Procurement/Materials Managers, and Supply Chain Analytics to support supplier selection, negotiations, and material delivery processes. The internship runs for 12 weeks, offering hands-on experience in RFQs, supplier profiles, and spend analytics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's in Supply Chain Management or related major.
• GPA at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent listening, writing, quantitative and verbal communication skills.
• Data analytics skills with Excel and multiple data sets.

Responsabilités

• Assist Supplier Account Managers and Procurement/Materials Managers in 12-week summer internship.
• Create supplier profiles and analyze parts to assign to commodity families.
• Support cost reduction opportunities and supplier negotiations.
• Perform MRP-related tasks and supplier communication for material status.
• Contribute to spend analytics and procurement analytics for optimization.
