Sinomax USA Inc. seeks a Materials Analyst to optimize purchasing, production planning, and inventory management at our La Vergne facility. You will monitor material requirements, shortages, and planning parameters, then translate data into actionable supply chain insights to protect on-time delivery.

You will develop dashboards in Power BI, analyze inventory, and coordinate with Planning, Purchasing and Production teams to minimize risk and support continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or related field.
• At least three years of experience in supply chain analytics, material planning, or production planning.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Excel VBA for data analysis or automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Bilingual Mandarin/English is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze daily supply chain and production metrics to identify shortages and inventory discrepancies.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with Supply Chain, Production and Warehouse teams.
• Evaluate material shortages, capacity gaps, and risks affecting production plans and customer delivery.
• Support purchase-order planning by analyzing material requirements and supplier lead times.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor material availability and support planning decisions.
• Create time-phased and just-in-time material supply plans with Operations.
• Analyze inventory and aging to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Develop plant-level inventory strategies to improve turnover and reduce obsolescence.
• Prepare material deviation or substitution requests and track approvals.
• Assist with material returns, scrap, and inventory adjustments.
