Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Materials Supervisor in Peabody, MA to lead the materials department, drive operational excellence, and maintain critical material control systems. You will manage shipping, receiving, and inventory using Visual ERP, collaborating with planning and stockroom teams to maximize performance and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong sense of urgency, professional behavior, and the ability to lead a team. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 7+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Maintains inventory levels with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Maintains material quality and control by proper storage and labeling.
• Supports Stockroom with releasing from inspection, kitting and marker printing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material control systems to support OTD goals.
• Lead shipping, receiving, and inventory control using Visual ERP.
• Collaborate with planning and assembly to ensure on-time delivery.
• Adhere to policies and communicate procedures within the department.
• Manage departmental functions to achieve goals and objectives.
• Model professional behavior including urgency, integrity and teamwork.
• Partner with purchasing to ensure timely receipts and cross-functional support.
