Avancez Assembly is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee production materials and procurement. You will ensure smooth production planning by maintaining optimal raw material levels, supporting new launches, and coordinating with local teams and plants.

The role requires 3+ years in materials management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and proficiency with ERP/Kanban systems. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years in materials management or supply chain logistics.
• Experience with ERP and Kanban systems; familiarity with MRP, QAD MfgPro and GM's MGO is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support shipping/receiving team.
• Develop and maintain material and inventory control systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the QAD system.
• Optimize inventory to support production and launches; minimize obsolescence.
• Ensure all incoming material is received, labeled and stored correctly.
• Coordinate, schedule and monitor tooling shipments to assembly plants.
• Monitor inventory levels using min/max systems to avoid production interruptions.
