Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a Supervisor Materials (Transportation) to oversee daily activities of materials personnel, ensuring safe storage and timely retrieval of supplies to meet internal and external customer needs.

The role requires monitoring inventory, updating database records, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, and guiding direct reports toward goals and development, while escalating HR issues when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Material Handling personnel and ensure safe, efficient storage and retrieval of supplies.
• Monitor production material to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Record receipts and inventory data to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Assist cycle counters and ensure inventory accountability.
• Coordinate deliveries and follow up on special pickups and deliveries.
• Lead performance reviews and develop direct reports; address issues with HR as needed.
