What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts, including warehousing, shop, and delivery services to ensure material availability and timely delivery to meet production schedules.
• Compile data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts; apply statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
• Maintain staff by orienting and training employees; develop personal growth opportunities.
• Achieve staff job results through coaching, counseling, and disciplining; plan, monitor, and appraise job performance; conduct training; enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and adhering to regulations.
• Complete operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving issues; maintaining manuals; introducing new procedures.
• Control expenses, submit cost-saving ideas, monitor expenditures and variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, reviewing procedures, specifications, MI’s, and manuals.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Ability to work with external customers.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written, at all levels.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of UBS, TTX, RailRX, CSX, Inlet, TAS, BPCS, SEI or Mater systems.
